I bought one for my wife and one for me. We both love them. Two years ago I gave the wife, a now discontinued, model for Christmas that had more charge capacity and she loved it. Unfortunately our dog mistook it for a chew toy and we had to through it out. I bought the charger listed above to replace the chewed one and even though it does not hold the charge that our old one did it still gives my Droid RAZR a 60% boost on battery life. Good product as long as you are only expecting it to boost your battery life and not to replace it. This is also only good for smaller devices with similar sized batteries. My Droid RAZR has a 1780mAh battery and this is rated at 1080mAh. Very handy to supplement a devices battery life while at the beach, restaurant, Movie Theater, out shopping or in the middle of an Angry Birds episode and you don’t want to stop.

I bought this today and had not high, but moderate expectations.
To keep things short, it took a little over four hours to charge, and it brought my Galaxy SII from 6% to 37%. Absolutely not worth the money. It is great for a small amount of backup power, but nowhere near as efficient as advertised.
My moderate expectations were not at all met. I will be returning this next week. Maybe you all will have better luck, but it certainly didn't work for me!

The usb instant charger is a great buy, i got it on sale but still worth every penny. i use it all the time work great on my cell phone and ipod, im not always able to charge my stuff in the car or at home so this thing work great. great gadget for any techie or anyone else who hates dead batteries. this is a must buy and the best thing is its by a name you can trust duracell

Bought it through Amazon 3 days ago. Turned to green after 30 minutes but does not charge phone, iPad, iPod or Kindle Fire for more than 20 minutes and does not give more than 20 minutes to any of the devices.

Won't last a hour on cell phone. Will not charge anything

I've got this product today. I saw it on the internet and couldn't let it pass me by. So i bought this model. But on my first recharge it took less than 1 hour to deplete the usb charger completly and it didn't even charge my telephone battery full. My battery was at 43 % and usb charger went dead on 93% charge and my phone was turned of during the charge. I don't know it the product is faulty but i would not recommend this product if it depletes this fast

yeah smartphone batteries are easy to run down. Yes this product sounds like it would be helpful. No, its not cool to fry my battery though. Used this product maybe a few times in the past week, and my phone doesnt take a charge now. Be wary of this product, you may just kill your battery too.

I want to know if you have any tip to be use in my blackberry 9800, I just bought the backup battery and followed the instruction and it is not working. I charged before I connected to the device and now the light is in red again. I hop work if not is not I will not recommended.

I am a police officer, and I purchased the above unit for my Samsung " Fascinate " cell phone. I would have rather purchased " The Powerhouse " but it was only available on-line. My phone was at about 1% power when I connected the above unit. (I had charged the unit to FULL power before I started this test!! Here is what I found. The phone was OFF, during the charging. I was able to bring the cell battery back to about 51%, before the unit went dead! This is not bad at all. My ONLY COMPLAINT with this unit is the following: The USB cable that comes with this unit, does NOT fit the input for the " Fasciante " port!!! I was forced to use the USB that came with the phone. Other than this one problem, I would give The " Instant " a Five Star rating. It took about one hour to achieve these results. For the cost this Power on Demand is a good value......

what i love bout it; its lightweight, and works with many devices. what i don't like about it is; its wide and since i use it mainly for my phone i have to either use my bluetooth or use the speak on the phone if i have this device plugged in.

My cell phone battery is is always running low, especially when using the GPS. I've used the instant charger about ten times in the past two months and it's been great. AND, it is small enough to keep in my purse!

I love this product! I work crazy hours sometimes which can leave me with a dead cell phone at the end of the day. But with this USB charger I am able to charge my cell phone on the spot until I am able to get home. I would recommend this to everyone as a real time saver while on the run. Its small and very easy to carry with you.
